BlackBerry wireless charger launched in India at Rs 2,499
BlackBerry has announced its first wireless charger in India. This brand new accessory has been launched by Optiemus Infracom, which operates the BlackBerry brand license in India. It is probably the first BlackBerry branded accessory released in India after a long time. To mark its presence back into the Indian smartphone market, it could prove to be a good start for the brand. Let’s talk about the specifications of the BlackBerry Wireless charger and its pricing in India below.
BlackBerry Wireless Charger Specs
It will be available in only one colour, i.e. Black. Weighing just 54.4 g, it is said to sport a USB Type-C port and claims to offer Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology for fast charging. The device claims it can charge a wireless supported handset up to 25% in 60 minutes. While looking at the current standards, it isn’t fast at all.
The brand has shared a couple of points that it claims are the highlight of its new Wireless charger. It is said to be portable and attractive design. Where most wireless chargers are designed plain, the company has gone ahead and made sure you flaunt the looks of your charger when placed on your desk.
The LED charger indicator is said to be intuitive, meaning you don’t have to check the device to find out charging status, but the LED indicator should be helpful in doing so. The device is said to be compatible with 5W output devices.
BlackBerry Wireless Charger Price In India
The new BlackBerry Wireless charger would be available for purchase on Amazon India’s website starting March 8. It will retail in India at Rs 2499, which is lower than Samsung, Huawei, and Google’s Pixel stand wireless charger. But again it misses out certain design features like a stand when compared with Samsung and Google’s. But it has at least one advantage of being the most affordable device among the above-mentioned brands.
